Disclaimer:

To consolidate one’s beliefs derived from a bible that consists of 750,000 words is difficult since God used an entire book to convey His message. So in the preface to stating our beliefs, we want to stress that this is a summary as we can best state it, not a specific list that God has revealed in His Word.

What We Teach

We teach from God’s word and God’s word only!

2 Timothy 2:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works

What We Teach About God

There is only one God. Isaiah 43:10 “You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, So that you may know and believe Me And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, And there will be none after Me.”

God the Father, Jesus, And the Holy Spirit are God. Or as Jesus would say ” I and the Father are one.”(John 10:30)

What We Teach About Christ

Jesus Is the Son of God and God Himself. John 3:16 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

He is the Only Way of salvation – Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

What We Teach About Salvation

Here’s a quick breakdown of what the Bible Says One Must Do To Be Saved:

  • Believe – “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
  • Repent – “I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3
  • Baptized (Immersed) – “When the people heard this, they were cut to the heart and said to Peter and the other apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” Acts 2:37-38  or  “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” Mark 16:16
  • Live For Christ – “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.” And Jesus said unto him, “No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.” Luke 9:62
